Tucked away on Florida's picturesque Emerald Coast, 30a is a hidden gem that offers a quintessential beach escape with a unique twist. Stretching along a scenic 26-mile stretch of coastline, this charming destination is known for its pristine beaches, charming beach communities, and a laid-back atmosphere that captures the essence of coastal living. 30a is renowned for its breathtakingly beautiful beaches. The beaches are some of the best in America and those calm mornings when the water is still with the dolphins jumping on the horizon are some of the best views there are. Whether you're sunbathing, swimming, or strolling along the shoreline, the beaches of 30a offer a serene and tranquil retreat. Often we have been to 30a and have been able to see our feet clearly when the water is waist deep. If you haven't experienced that before, it really is something.

Awesome Communities

The allure of 30a lies in its unique collection of beach communities, each with its own distinct character and charm. Explore the pastel-colored houses, quaint shops, and charming town squares that dot the coastline. Experience the iconic architecture and small-town feel of Seaside, often referred to as the town that inspired the Truman Show. Wander through the vibrant streets of Rosemary Beach with its European-inspired design and picturesque courtyards. Each community offers a delightful blend of beachy vibes, local flair, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Our favorite location is Dune Allen Beach near Oyster Lake. It's a quieter section of beach but it's closer to Destin so travel from the West is easier, but also getting to Destin for anything outing related is much simpler.

Food and Drink

30a is a haven for food lovers, with a vibrant culinary scene that showcases the freshest Gulf Coast flavors and local ingredients. Indulge in seafood delicacies like succulent shrimp, oysters, and Gulf fish prepared with a creative twist. By far our favorite dining destination is The Vue on 30a. Restaurant on the beach with truly some incredible food - you will not be disappointed with a special evening there. Other great spots are Bud & Alley's (iconic spot right there in Seaside), The Red Bar is a famous bar for many reasons, Pescado is a really cool and delicious spot with beautiful views. And if eating on the go suits your fancy, stop by Barefoot BBQ in Seaside - an incredibly delicious food truck that will make you wonder why you don't eat there every meal.

Scenic Coastal Bike Path

One of the best ways to experience the beauty of 30a is by cycling along the Timpoochee Trail, a scenic 19-mile bike path that hugs the coastline. Rent a bike and pedal your way through the charming beach communities, taking in panoramic ocean views and stopping at various points of interest along the way. The trail is perfect for all skill levels and allows you to explore the area at your own pace, immersing yourself in the natural splendor of the region. If biking isn't your thing, you can pick a smaller stretch and go for a run as well. Either way, it's a great way to see 30a.
